What is the Experience of a Couples Boudoir Photo Shoot Like?

At Modern Muse, we believe in holding space for you to be yourselves. Our Couples Boudoir experience is a fun journey of discovery and connection. It always begins with a conversation – to storyboard out what you want and what you feel comfortable being photographed. We’ll coach you through poses that explore the unique dynamics of your relationship – no two look the same. Our team is committed to making the session enjoyable, relaxed, and full of gorgeous images you will love.

Allana was absolutely amazing to work with!

My husband and I did a couple’s boudoir session for our anniversary and it was so much fun! Her studio was very comfortable with several different rooms to work in, and she was open to working with us for the kinds of looks and poses that we wanted, while also having so many ideas of her own to recommend and direct the shoot. She was great at guiding us through the motions and reminding us to be breathe and be playful, and the photos all came out so beautifully! It was really really hard to narrow them down for our package, but she was very patient and supported our wants and needs for the shoot every step of the way. 10/10 would recommend.

I can not say enough great things about Modern Muse and Allana! Allana was incredibly responsive and informative leading up to the day we took the photos, providing all manner of tips, tricks and encouragement. On the shoot day, she made me feel at ease and comfortable immediately. The make-up artist Neysa was fantastic and she and Allana brought my vision to life effortlessly. The shoot was so much fun and so empowering. And the photos! Oh my goodness the photos are absolutely stunning. Allana is a magic worker, I swear.

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had. Allana was so informative, helpful, and welcoming from our first interaction over the phone. I walked into her studio for my shoot feeling nervous but her easy and personable manner immediately helped me feel at ease and open up. The studio is tastefully decorated and perfect for many different types of shoots. She was quickly and easily able to pick up on the vibe I wanted to go with for my shoot and instructed me on how to achieve that vision from there.10/10 would do it again.
