Male Boudoir in Boston
- classic -
- TIMELESS -
drop the concept of 'real men,'
you are already real.
This begins the moment
you decide to be yourself.
The media dictates that men should be lean, strong, and muscular. And sometimes that impossible external ideal can wound our sense of self worth. Deciding to accept and embrace yourself with being focused on achieving the idealized body is in itself itself is an act of rebellion.

WHAT IS
Male Boudoir
Boudoir photography for men is too often either overlooked or made into an uncomfortable joke. BUT… Women do not have exclusive rights on the struggle with body image, or feelings of their bodies are not worthy. Men can and do want to be seen and worthy and desirable. As vulnerable and flirtatious. As enjoying pleasure and experiencing desire. All of these emotions are part of the human experience - and while they are absolutely beautiful so often we don’t allow ourselves to feel or see them in our own bodies.
You are worthy in the body you are in right now.

WhatWardrobe Do I Wear For My Male Boudoir Shoot?

The way we do things here at Modern Muse is to customize your intimate portrait session so that it reflects you - the real you!
Wardrobe should always support the mood and emotions we are going for in your portraits. The answer to the wardrobe question depends on the individual. Some men feel most themselves in jeans and t-shirts, some in a tank top and sweats, some in a suit, and some prefer lace.
How do I Pose for a Male Boudoir Photoshoot?

Every artist has their own style and approach that they bring to their portrait sessions. Can you guess that I am driven by emotion and mood - that it is about an authentic you?
I have been a professional portrait photographer for over a decade and have photographed hundreds of people. Part of my skill set lies in coaching for emotion, know how to use light to wrap and highlight your form and making small adjustments so that cumulatively these changes add up to something wonderful: showcasing your sensuality in a way that you might not have seen before.
