I love creating beautiful and sensual intimate portraits that are authentic to our clients sensual selves. They celebrate who you are as an individual – and your raw, honest and truest self.
Of course, we all have differing senses of self and different selves that integrate into making our whole. And so often the sensual sides of who we are are pushed down, or devalued or under explored. Each of us is unique and that is why all our sessions begin with conversations to uncover and identify who the sensual self that you want to show up in your portrait is – what they will want to wear to feel alive and feel good, how you want to settle into your skin, and how you want to breathe into your body. These conversations lay the foundation for your boudoir session, as we want to not only capture gorgeous images of you but we want to hold space for you to channel your inner magic, your spirit, your confidence and your power.
We know one style and one size does not fit all. And we love helping helping our clients style their boudoir photo shoot in ways that feel authentic to them. I love to have folks shop their closet as a first step. To look at what they already know they like and that feels like them. It doesn’t have to be all lingerie all the time. Lighting, posing and trust in the process all come together with wardrobe and hair and make up stying to tell your story and become your vision.
We love working with people that aren’t used to getting their picture taken and just may have some anxiety about doing a session. Let me remind you that we all have insecurities about our bodies. Our bodies are changing ALL THE TIME and it’s important to have gratitude for what they have done and where they have brought us.
