This unexpected global pandemic means that we have to keep our studio doors shut for a while longer. Bit it doesn’t mean that art isn’t being made and that we aren’t finding new ways to connect and collaborate.
I’ve written before about how freeing it has been to give up technical control in favor of creative possibilities – and as we progress week after week into this “new normal” I am finding that this lesson in giving up control has been good for this artist’s heart.
We are looking forward to being in person again, as I am sure we all are. I thought I would share more images from a virtual session I had recently with dancer and pilates instructor. There is movement and grace everywhere she turns.
That’s a great question. It’s one I had when I first heard of it. We make a time to connect (the place is yours!) and we connect via your phone or device of your choosing for a video screen call. I guide you through where to put your device and coach you through posing. We laugh a lot. We experience technical issues and sudden and joyful unexpected beauty. We sign off from our virtual connection and I edit the images with a playful and vintage feel. We connect later for your reveal.
Our virtual boudoir sessions are NOT the full studio boudoir experience we are known for BUT it is:
a warm up for your in person session with us
A way for you to get to know me even more
proof that you already have what it takes to crush a boudoir shoot
A collaborative and creative recharge
Safe social distancing
